The Space Cowboy (Chayne Hultgren) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Byron Bay, Australia. His practice brings together expressive painting, animal characters and augmented-reality storytelling, shaped by a background in international performance.
During the COVID lockdown, painting with his daughter became the starting point for a new creative chapter. His work carries the energy, playfulness and sense of wonder of his performance practice into original paintings, inviting viewers to explore character, individuality and imagination.
